Went to Bodhi's 15 month checkup today...

Today we went to see Dr. Chris for Bodhi's 15 month checkup. She said that Bodhi is doing really well developmentally with walking, talking, and his fine motor skills! That is always great to hear. He has been a bit fussy this week with a fever and just not acting like himself. Well, she said he has 4 NEW MOLARS! That would explain some things, wouldn't it? I am so excited that he has more teeth. I thought he was going to have 6 teeth for the rest of his life. So that was good news.
The bad news... Bodhi just finished his THIRD round of antibiotics for his double ear infections. Nothing is working. Te poor little guy is miserable. Lately he has been waking up at night crying because it hurts to lie down. The doctor told us today that it is time for bodhi to get tubes in his ears. I had a feeling this was coming. I am not going to lie, I am very nervous about this whole thing because don't know what to expect. Everyone that I have talked to about it has said that tubes are amazing and that they work immediately. I am so ready for Bodhi to feel normal again. I will keep you posted on how that pans out over the next few weeks.
On a good note, Bodhi has officially learned how to use a straw! It is so much fun, sometimes messy, but always fun. I am so proud of him, as usual!
Okay, I will post again soon! Love you all.

I'm back!

It has been months since that last time I posted anything on our blog. I have decided to pick it up again. Life is so busy, exciting, and fun with Bodhi around and I want to share it with you!
Bodhi is almost 16 months old now. He is walking, running, and talking. His favorite words are "hockey, hockey!", ""dada", "papa", "bada" (wit his hands up), and "hi." It is so much fun listening to him talk and knowing that he understands what we are saying.
We still have Bodhi in daycare full time at Little People's Landing. We love them and Bodhi really loves being there. He is learning so much and growing up to be such a cool kid, I have to thank daycare for that. Everyday they write down a story about Bodhi's day.
"Bodhi loves dancing around with the scarves during music time!"
"Bodhi ran and played with his friends today, laughing the whole time!"
"Bodhi loves playing in the car on the playground. He gets in and out over and over."
Bodhi's teacher told me that out of all this ids in his class, Bodhi is the most peaceful kid, and also the most social. I loved hearing that.
being a mom is the most amazing thing in the world. I am so proud of Bodhi every day. I am amazed at everything he does and can't wait to see what he will do next.
Well, that is all for now. I promise to have more soon, very soon.
